While we mostly crave some force of personality from our music, from the soul song that councils you through heartbreak the way bartenders only do in the movies, to the dance song that gets the party started like the reckless friend who makes the night magical, but is best avoided during the day, sometimes the requirement of sound is simply to fill in blank spaces, and to cancel out the din of this unnatural world.
